After being blown out in game 1, and down by double digits late in game 2, Atlanta looked like they were not ready for Miami the #1 seed in the East.

But in the 4th quarter the Hawks began to show the type play that got to last year’s Eastern Conference Finals. They cut the Heat lead to 3 late in the 4th quarter. Then Miami’s Jimmy Butler, who lead all scorers with 45 points stung Atlanta with some big buckets and stout defense to seal the heat victory.

Bogi Bogdanovic lead the Hawks with 29 points, including 19 in the 4th quarter comeback. Trae Young after being held to 8;points in game 1 chipped in 25, but had 10 turnovers.

Atlanta returns home to State Farm arena for games 3 and 4 . There the Hawks have won 20 of their last 23 games.
